How'd they do that? V4 Brazen

I was looking at the V4 Brazen outfit. But what had caught my eye was the lollipop in the mouth. Does anyone know how they did that? One of the pictures shows the candy in the mouth with the mouth closed, but the one cheek puffed out. I looked at the morphs I have on V 4.2, but can't get it like the picture. I haven't learned to do my own custom morphs and really hope that someone can point me to a package that might have this already in it. Maybe an expression package that I overlooked?

I don't know how they did it, but if it were me, I'd create a D-Former and position it at the cheek. Should be simple enough to create. The lips look like they did a little something as well. I'd probably use another D-Former there to give the lips a slight tweak, but that would be a little more complicated than the cheek one.

Another possibility would be to add a smoothing modifier to V4 to collied with the lollipop

You can still download original MindVision G.D.S. freebie from http://www.mindvision-gds.com/Brazen-Lollipop/Brazen-Lollipop.zip

Should come with lollip(r)op, morphs for K4/V4/M4 and hand/mouth poses as well, I think.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and the file link. I haven't played with d-formers yet. It is on my todo list. However, I will remember your suggestions. In the meantime, I downloaded the file for the free lollipop and morphs and will be playing with it tonight.

Went over there and added both this and the required product to my wishlist. They are on sale until Friday so will think about it. I do like Ironman13's stuff.

Just remember that that's listed as a Poser-only product .

Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't read the description yet. That is something I always do before buying at Rendo, though, because so many of the items there are poser only. Since I don't have poser, I took it out of my wishlist.

Yeah, shopping at Rendo can be a crapshoot. Fortunately Ironman is one of the vendors who's really good about noting when some aspects of a product absolutely will not work with DS (or, inversely, Poser.) On the other hand, there are a lot of PAs there who make products that DO work with DS, but they've never actually tested them, so it's more a cover your *** thing. And then there are some who seem to have no clue... there was a great set of dynamic martial arts outfits for G2F that went up the other day, but they were inexplicably for Poser... wth?

Why not? You can use Genesis 2 Female in Poser.
It is a more limited range of potential customers, I would agree, but I guess at some point someone has to give it a try a least - maybe there are more Genesis 2-in-Poser users than we think.

Creating dynamic clothes is not possible in DS, unless you have the full Optitex software which costs thousands of dollars.
On the other hand it's relatively easy to create dynamic clothes for poser (provided you know how to model, of course) as you can clothify any model in the cloth room. And once you've done a version for a figure it's also relatively easy to adapt to another as you don't have to redo rigging and they often don't include morphs.

So it's not that surprising to see Poser dynamic clothes produced for G2F too.
edit: I must admit though, I would love having a DS version (dynamic or not) of their Oriental Dream2 dress...

The problem wasn't that they were aiming at a very small subset of G2F users, but that the catalog text never even mentions that it doesn't work in DS at all, though as soon as you start reading the text specs, it's pretty obviously a cloth-room product. The funniest part, though, is in the read me where under requirements it says - Poser 9 or above / DAZ G2F (not tested with DS)

Needless to say, it turns out the product is a refit of a V4 outfit and the ad text and instructions seem to have been cut and paste from the V4 version.

Anyone know what hair is under the cap in the Brazen promo? That's a good look.

Looks like Goldtassel's Winter Cap hair and Gloves from Rendo.
