Is there any advantage to bridge if you only want to import your own models from Blender?

I hope I said that clearly...
I don't want to import models from DAZ Studio to Blender, just bring my models over from Blender into DS... it didn't seem like that's what Bridge is for, but I figured I'd ask if it does that and if there was any advantage over just plain old exporting the old fashioned way.
Thanks in advance for any info on this question.
And sorry if it's been asked already or it's really dumb.

Yeah, you got it right. The bridge is only one way, the wrong way for your user case. I think plain old obj import is still the most reliable way yet. Invented back in 1649, it has stood the test of time.
Most of my models created in Blender. For modeling I use Blender 2.79. I use traditional obj export method to bring my models to Daz.
After rigging I use Diffeomorphic bridge and the last version of Blender to bring my models back to Blender, just for fun.
@ j cade :
Are you thinking of this one by millighost? -- export_dsf_prop
It was one of the millighost's scripts I started to update before I took on the Blender/DS morphing bridge. I still have plans to finish updating for B2.9x series, but it will be a long while.
I still use it with B2.79 as my main way to get my new models from Blender to DS without going through any export/import -- works great!
Can get it here (for B2.79) :

And here is Daz forums thread :

Hi Ken. Are those two projects or the same one? Just wondering how your morphing bridge is going as we haven't heard from you for a while. Your early work did look very promising.
Yep thats the one! It doesn't work for 2.8 but it sill works for 2.7 and you can make a couple hundred instances, export it out and load it right up in DS. Although DS itself has limitations with how well it handles instances - you're probably not going to be able to export 100,000 objects and not have DS open it without freezing.
Im definitely going to have to try it for stuff like, say exporting multiple buttons at once to be used with rigid follow nodes - that would absolutely make something like that far simpler
I haven't opened 2.79 in a whle though. and it is amazing how used to 2.8+ I've gotten. I used to be so used to right click selecting :0. Did it really always have those non alti-aliased lined and I just didn't notice?
@ j cade :
I have never tried bringing in instances, but it is great that millighost added that feature for those who want to use it.
And, I know what you mean with getting used to 2.8x and going back to open 2.79 -- Feels all foreign and strange now...
@ marble :
Those are two different projects -- I started by updating his/her morph import/export scripts, and was going to update the DSF prop export script as well, but abandoned them for now to work on the GoBlender_Daz Studio morph creator bridge.
Yes, I am still hard at work with it, and am making progress, but I still have many months of work ahead of me.
I moved on to an all-in-one script utilizing tabs with dynamic switching between Exports/Imports and the individual object types. I started with a tab per object approach, but changed it to a single tab for both exports/imports with dynamic type selection for active parameters.
I have my mock-ups set up for multiple exports/imports as we previously discussed, but have yet to lay down the code necessary for that to work with both Blender and DS -- On my TODO list...
Here are some current WIP images of the current tabs script (all subject to change) :
* Exports Tab :
* Imports Tab :
* Imports Settings Tab :
* ( Old ) Help Tab -- From first multi-tab script :
Wow, looking very professional and comprehensive already! I'm happy to do some more testing if and when you need feedback.
