OT: Microsoft fixes old bug

Who says that Microsoft isn't responsive to security threats? It may take them a while to discover them though. LIke 19 years!!!!!!

I'd love to see the details on this. I was singlehandedly writing special purpose, multi-tasking, real-time operating systems before Win95 came out and when I had to actually use Win95 (because a client demanded it) I snickered at and bemoaned the potential pitfalls of all sorts that it harbored. It's only recently that I've come to accept Windows as probably capable of real work. I've also noticed that many features that now exist in Windows were offered by UNIX twenty years ago.
