Changing diffuse color on G2M cat tail

For some reason, G2M anatomy cat tail won't let me change the diffuse color. Actually, I can change the diffuse color in the editor, but it has no effect on the color of the object, either in the preview or the render. I can change the ears, and I can change the body fur, but not the ail fur.Has anyone else had this problem, and if so were you able to resolve it, and if so, how? I've searched the forums and could not find this anywhere.

    Never mind. As soon as I went back to it, I found the creature creature main box and that's where you change it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
