How to export .obj with all the texture?

I have exported 3D model to .obj from DS and re-imported the .obj.
The texture is the same as it should be.
But there will be no texture or wrong textures if I import the .obj to other 3D program.
How come?

Did you export the .obj file with the matching .mtl file? The .obj file format is very old, so it does things in what are nowadays strange ways. One of these is the separate .mtl file — it defines diffuse colours properly and defines the names of textures applied to the .obj materials. Without the .mtl file, importing only the .obj file can produce odd colours and, as you've discovered, loading textures is not reliable.
Also, note that, because the file format is so old, it does not include any sort of advanced materials settings — it's about equivalent to Poser 4/Pro Pack materials, before the Poser Material Room with its options for complicated procedural materials, was added to Poser.
Thank you,SpottedKitty.
Yes, the .obj has .mtl file with it.
I am playing with the mObject, HitFilm 2 and 3D-Coat.
Since these programs all can accept .obj that I export the 3D model to .obj...
