Need someone to alter Armor

edited November 2014 in The Commons

I am using the chest piece of the LARVA armor at the link below and need someone to make a small change.

The middle section of the armor is raised like a small hill. I need it pushed back so it looks okay without the lower armor.

I tried doing this myself, but the item wouldn't load in Hexagon and my old version of Blacksmith 3D is missing the reg file so BS3D won't open. I couldn't get it to open in Clothes Converter either, but that is probably user error.

I can pay by PayPal.

I would ask DarioFish personally. Modifying non-OL models behind the creator's back is a murky ground.

Indeed, if this is an old style figure you'd need to find someone who already had a copy and then they'd need to send you the modification RTEncoded against the original, assuming the store from which you purchased allows that. Unless the item has empty morph channels, in which case they could make a morph and save it as an injection pose using the empty channel. If it's a TriAx figure then creating a morph asset is a simpler matter, but you'd still need to find someone who was willing to do the work and who already had the figure.

For getting a copy of your Blacksmith3D regfile contact [email protected] with your original email adress you used for buying and registering (if it's different), from which site you purchased and maybe the date of paypal payment. They check sale records and if they find your information re-send your reg file. If you don't get an answer soon try blacksmith subforum at Renderosity.

If you use Daz Studio you can also try D-Formers for what you aim for, they are quite easy to handle once you understood how they work: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/artzone/pub/software/dform/start

Note: If you cannot see blacksmith email on first line click 'Quote' and it will be visible inside the quote.

I can easily do this for you for only the cost of the purchase of the suit from Xurge3D ($15.00). So, basically, I am willing to modify the suit for you for free, but I would need to first purchase it.

It is for Genesis, so there should be no issue sending you the modified vertex delta data (morph target) for you to add to your suits data folder. It would be a custom DSF morph target file that does not infringe on any copyrights.

I am a custom 3D Content Creator for DAZ Studio/Poser. If you would like to see some of my work to assure you I have the skills to perform this easy task, just let me know.

    You are all soooooo awesome!!!

The D-formers seemed to work. Five were made and parented to the correct locations.

Thanks, DaremoK3, for the reply. I may take you up on your offer for the final render.
