Not subdividing?

I'm running into a new issue here. My figures and props don't want to subdivide. My genesis is on Sub level two, but has the resolution of base. Meaning it don't work. I even put it at sub level 3 knowing it would lock my PC at such high Res...
It didn't change nothing. Tried the same thing on the hair. No go on that either.

Resolution level must be set on high, not base. Only then will it take into account the different subD levels on the figure. Also you can leave the SubD level at 1 and when you render the HD details (if dialled up) will render at what ever subD level they were created on. You only time you set the subD level higher prior to rendering in DS, is if you wish to see the details before you hit render. In Poser the subD level has to be changed before hand because it only renders at the level it is set at.

I restarted the program. Seems to be working now. I'll bump if I see it again.

Thanks for the advice, but I don't normally render characters in Daz. I use Reality Plug in for that.

Reality needs the subD set beforehand, similar to Poser. Move the slider to the correct number of subdivisions before exporting to Luxrender, that means bringing it to level 3 subdivision for any HD morphs you may have. In some cases that might mean changing the slider to remove the limits.
