Help Installing Daz and CMS onto a laptop.

I'm sure I've seen a thread about this somewhere but I'm blowed if I can find it!

I have all my content on an external drive and DS 4.6 on my main PC. I want to put DS 4.6 onto my laptop as well, but how do I get the CMS etc over so DS can find the content already installed? The external hard drive is connected via wifi so I should be able to access it from the laptop.

    Have you customised the content? If not all you should need to do is reimport the metadata. However, you will need to reinstall plug-ins and some scripts and shaders from the laptop as they place files in the application folder.

    Yes Richard, some content has been customized but not much. Does that make a difference?

    Make sure you Export User Data so that it will be included when you Re-Import Metadata.
