Do have to get Michael 6?

I'll be honest - I don't really like Michael 6 all that much, primarily because I'm still madly in love with Michael 5. I do like Gianni so I'd rather get him. But I don't know whether I have to get Michael 6 or nothing else Genesis2 Male will work. Some of the other male characters say they need the Michael 6 UV map but Gianni supposedly has his own. So the question of the day is how much of the G2M content does depend on M6 and as long as I'm willing to live without the M6 face morph, can I get along without him?

Actually it's the question of the hour because M6 is on sale.

Well, if it was just clothing you were worried about, then it wouldn't be an issue. However, if you want optimum UV support for certain textures, then yes, the character is required. It's a pain, we know...

Besides, it's not like you have to USE him, if you get him - just his UV set ;)

I'm not a fan of his head morph either, but it's still a nice character to have. The price looks decent too (with PC+ discount) :)

I don't like him much on his own either, but there are several very nice characters that use his body morph and some of his head morph mixed in with custom morphs.. and they don't look anything like him but if you don't have him to mix with the custom morph some of they can look quite weird.

Ok - y'all talked me in to it. After all, my G2M hunk that I'm playing around with is using the Phillip M5 texture. And I figured out there's some other stuff I can take out the cart and still get all the base figures that I want.

M6 has been the most disappointing gen 2 release for me. His head and those awful pecs infect other characters which use the morph.

I've been going back to gen 5 and using gen x to morph to avoid dialing m6 in.

The rest of his body is fine, but the head and chest I strongly dislike. Wish there was a fix.

Depends on the character pack - some don't mess with the pecks - even fewer packs actually morph the feet/toes and hands/fingers sadly.

If you are already using GenX I suggest transferring over the pec/chest morphs from G1, even some of the pec/chest morphs from M4.
Using them at low strengths help get that default shape out.

Good suggestions. I'll have to try to genx-just the chest....

The best work around I've been able to find the chest issues is using the M4 Genesis shape ported in via Gen X for the body. You can combine him with Gianni as well for muscle mass. That's what I used in my latest gallery post.
