Whoa! Teens prominently displayed in underwear. That surprised me. Is DAZ loosening up a little?

Someone forgot that the Young Teens Julie and Jason were promoted the same way. More than anything it's to let people get an idea of the figure shape, since clothes tend to mask the body shape unless it's form fitting like a swimsuit.

Julie and Justin look like they are in swimwear to me, at least in the main promo for them. Belle looks like she is in white bra and skimpy panty. They cover and reveal about the same amount, but swimwear is acceptable in public and underwear is private. It just surprised me. I wouldn't have thought twice about a skimpy bikini. Funny, huh?

Actually, what caught my eye a little while ago was a render that showed a troll or some such creature battling a human, and the human had been knocked up against a wall with blood obviously coming out of his mouth. That seemed to be pushing the "no violence" rule, I thought.

I once posted a render of an inept magician accidentally cutting a woman in half. It was a humorous render for an RRRR contest. The admins deleted the image, because of violence. I was embarrassed. I hadn't even been thinking of violence when I made it, but I could see their point. Then a couple days later they advertised and sold Severed Man in the store! I was told that the TOS for the forum doesn't apply to the store. Seems strange to me, but DAZ can make whatever rules they want for their store and website, so I try hard now to be careful to not violate TOS in the forum.

We are not getting the lingerie with the shapes as far as I know. And there are loads of fetish clothes DAZ sells with really "strong" promos; nobody seems to object. Mind you B-teens' bundles don't have skimpwear.

Belle's outfit isn't really that surprising, given the other female teen characters promos. YT Julie is wearing a barely there bikini, which could easily be mistaken as underwear, and Josie has the String Bikini. What IS surprising is that DAZ chose such revealing outfits, when the original Young Teens Luke and Laura were displayed wearing full bodysuits.

I saw some lacy underwear/lingerie for young teens Laura on a website a year ago.

Ever since DAZ came under new management a few years back things have been loosening up in product and promo work (but not loosening in quality of products). It was the old team that was staunch conservative.

I dont think there´s anything wrong with how Belle for example, is being promoted. She is wearing a normal set of underwear, nothing provocative or sexy.
After all, what other way is there to show as much of the body shape morph and skin texture as possible, they just have to wear underwear/swimwear so the customers know exactly what they´re buying.
