These are two morphs based on the Genesis 2 Female figure. The differences will be shape, textures, etc.
Go for the one that you fancy the most.
Looking at the pics my guess is that Belle would be in the older teen bracket.. Only a guess the fact though that they have released Brodie at the same time suggests this may be the case.. As in some of the pics you see her with what looks to be her flirting with Brodie..
Either way she does look cute, along with Brodie they will partner well with Josie 6 and Jayden 6..
Yes, the intent is that Belle and Brodie are younger then Jayden and Josie.
So which is it? Younger or Older?
Between ghosty12 and Richard I see conflicting age differences.
I just didn't see much of an age difference myself.
Just like much of the 6 series for Victoria they seemed to be just another morph.
B-teens are younger than J-teens. It is not only visible on the promos, but also obvious by the bundle assortment - no skimpwear at last, a rarity that happens only with kids and young teens (compare K4 and Young Teens for Genesis). And yup, they are just major shapes which may be a requirement for PA morphs.
Wonder when there will be the preschoolers for genesis 2. I want a three to four year old genesis 2 male to make renders for my nephew.
I think Belle is an attempt at a more realistic teen that fits with the other characters.
Josie was very toon-like with an over-sized head, eyes and feet. You couldn't see her growing up to be Victoria or Olympia (not unless her head suddenly shrunk).
That would be fantastic! Growing Up just doesn't do the trick for me.
Yeah, the 5 year old Genesis 2 shape is a bit tall for my tastes.
Belle looks cute. I'll take a look at the promotional renders of Belle and Josie.
I prefer Belle a bit to Josie.. but it's close. I don't usually render teens and I have to support both with my products so my preference matters little. Belle is easier to make morphs for, if she needs them at all.
Genesis 2 has body morphs that adjust the leg\torso length and so does Shape Shift. These morphs are designed to give you more flexibility. So it's pretty easy to adjust the height of your character shape if they are too tall.
If you're a plat club member I posted some comparison renders starting here and on the following page: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/47884/P165/#717641
Quick comparison for you. However you look at it, Belle is the younger one of the two, and it's reflected in her bundles as well. Probably the best thing to come from this release are some great new outfits which work well on the younger generation, something that was a bit lacking before.
It's great to see the young ones get some love from Daz, and Belle is a fantastic morph to boot. She also includes a really gorgeous less-flawed (I don't want to use the term flawless) skin which makes it ideal for use on even the youngest of children.
For me, it was a no brainer. You'll want to decide whether you want an older figure or a younger one in your works though. If you need them a bit older, go with Josie, but if you want youth go with Belle.
