Michael 6's gap
Since the release of M6 there is one thing that has caught my eye but I haven't seen it mentioned before.
Michael 6 has a gap between his lips at default.
A lot of figures (most even) for M6 have the same and sometimes even bigger gap.
The base G2M does not have it so it was introduced by M6.
The first thing I always do when loading any M6 figure in my scene, is dialing out the gap between the lips.
I am thinking of writing a ticket to ask for a permanent fix...
I could also make my own morph and distribute that for all of you who think it needs a fix as well, but it would be better to have it permanently fixed...

I asked about this when a few of the female characters came this way. The answer is, they feel it is a more natural pose for the lips and have it set as default. There are no plans to change it :(
I've found M6 has some disappointing figure points that I wish could be addressed. I haven't notice the gap before. That is odd.
Actually I saw references where the model had a natural pose with their mouth slightly open. I had always thought the mouth needed to be closed, but yeah it's more natural in some cases. My natural pose is the same. I may have to keep this in mind for a character.
Just face it, some Daz characters are mouth-breathers. :)

I need to make dinner now, but I will make a simple morph for the mouth and put it on ShareCG
Good to know that DAZ already made a statement about the lip pose, saves me a ticket ;)
That avatar was designed especially for me by a DAZ employee, who also did avatars for a few other PA's. It was meant to be funny (he dared me to use it on the forum) and now I can't seem to change it back to the original, lol.
