As I mentioned over in the Star Trek thread in the commons, i no longer have access to 3D Studio Max so I cannot convert anymore .max files.
No worries, as most Trek models tend to be released in more than one format like max/obj and lwo.
Also, not seen that many new Trek models in max format in awhile. It's mostly obj and lwo, and your awesome conversions for Daz/Poser.
And, as always, I know I always wait, with baited breath, to see your new conversions and updates. :)
Entirely too many Trekkers in this thread. ;)

If you convert something yourself, feel free to host it where ever you wish. just make sure you get the model makers permission first before hosting it.
I honestly dont have time to work on these. My commercial model is taking all my time.
Anarion made it pretty clear all he wants is credit if we re-distribute... I'll do the full settup.
Unfortunately, what that means it that he can't do any more of Dave's awesome models. (like McKinley Station. bummer.)

Due to a lack of time and resources to commit to further conversions, I have decided its best for me to stop work on the conversions. It has been more then 2 months since the last one was done and since before then I have been spending all my time making commercial models for sale here (one in progress atm). I am greatful for all the kindness and encouragement over the past few years as I have worked on these and I am very pleased to see how well they were accepted and appreciated.
For anyone who wishes to "take up the tourch" and pick up where I left off, I am more than willing to help out with answering questions and such. My conversion tutorial is linked to at the top of the OP of this thread if its needed.
I never got around to converting any interiors other then the Voyager bridge and Holodeck so I dont have a list of unconverted sets since they are all unconverted but I am attaching a screen shot of the unconverted ST ships. Please note, I don't remember where each one is from but at least the name can help find them.
Well for one that has enjoyed your hard work and effort on your ship conversions I hate to see you step away from this but I do understand that other priorities must come first! Thank you for everything you have done for both the Star Trek and Star Wars fans to make these models more user friendly for the Poser and DS users!

I wont go into details on the vehicle but I did quite the jump going from small props to the vehicle. Its been quite the learning experiance and a lot of fun too. Though I will admit I have under estimated the task at hand.

Its not a need to be honest, its just i dont have the time any more so if anyone is interested in doing conversions of ones I never got around to then the list posted above will give them some idea of where to start. I just canot tell you where most of them came from any more.
So feel free to do which ever ones you would like. Its up to you as to which ones.
