Going crazy here, I was trying to figure out how to change background color. I need to read the stickeys a little closer. Background has been moved to a new enviroment pane.

The viewport background is now in Window -> Style -> Customize Colors... towards the bottom: Viewport Color. I didn't know that you can change the viewport colors independently, if you want. I'm impressed, DAZ.

Olga, isn't what you're showing us how it works in 4.6 as opposed to 4.7?

I ask where to find this command in 4.7

    Window>panes>environment http://prntscr.com/5aynuv

In the environment tab, select Background and if you want to load an image, go to Browse for the image you want. http://prntscr.com/5ayoey

Glad this question has been answered here. Not having the background button near the viewport in 4.7 was driving me nuts.
