Feature Requests for the Forums

Pretty simple, really. Other forums already have these features. By not having them here, DAZ is making forum navigation needlessly cumbersome.

1. After a new post has been submitted, the topic page reappears but is positioned at the TOP, where all I see are old postings.

I prefer to have the forum show that page but also page down to the bottom so that I can see my last post and any fresh ones that may have arrived while I was typing and self-spellchecking. Most other forums do this already.

2. The bottom of each page within a topic has no navigation bar, but should!

At the top of a threaded topic is "Home/ Forum Home / General / The Commons / PostwhateverI'mreading". If I decide I'm too bored to continue, I can just punch "The Commons" and get back to the list of topics. Fast. Simple. No-fuss! I would like this navigation bar to also appear at the BOTTOM of each page of posts so that I don't have to scroll up just to get out. Forum pages can be very "tall" when they have a lot of responses. By having a navigator at the top AND bottom of the page, you allow your reader to escape that page without ever having to scroll more than halfway to get to the closest navigator.

And lest anybody is thinking "just hit the back button", no that's not a good solution, because "back" may not take you to the list of topics and also may not result in a page refresh, therefore you don't see a new page of topics.

3. You see that little "document icon" that is next to the page numbers 1, 2, 3, etc (in a topic list I mean)? That is supposed to take you directly to the FIRST UNREAD POST based on your cookies. It doesn't work. Please make it work DAZ, it would really save me a lot of time!
