Larger monitor makes Carrara look like old 640 resolution

In an effort to make it easier on my eyes to read the info on the Carrara screens I purchased a 32" HD TV/Monitor. That helped a lot. I was using a 24" HD monitor. On the 24" monitor all the lettering was so tiny but now it looks as if I am running the old 640x480 sized screen instead of the 1920x1080 size. Everything is somewhat oversized. Aliasing doesn't seem to be showing up either. Is there a way to make the working screen fit the resolution better? All windows programs adjusted themselves to the high resolution and all their text became smaller and sharper with this new monitor/TV. Is Carrara 8.5 Pro capable of adjusting to the larger resolutions? When the monitor comes on it shows to be HDMI 1920x1080 and that is what the video driver shows as well.
