A Favorite tab next to Products and Files?

Can we get this instead of the drop down menu? I would love to have the option to add a star to my favorite vendor products in Daz. When we add a star to the item it would show up in the Favorite Tab next to the Products Tabs.
If we remove the star it would disappear from the Favorite tab.

I like the idea, as long as it doesn't just work with the smart content section, since I never use smart content.
I use the drop down script solution all the time, but I have a lot of items in there and this would be a better solution
You could create a favourites group, with a star overlay, and then add group::favs (or whatever you called it) to the filter.box.

Forgot to add that you can save the filters, which will then be aailable for other views based on the CMS (Presets tabs in proerpty panes) for the Files tab in Smart Content.

I'll give this one a try. Thanks for the info. But I still think there should be a Star filter... for quick favorites in the smart content.
Where is the syntax of filters defined? How did you know to use two colons, for example?
Looks like the same syntax as for DIM filters: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/install_manager/referenceguide/interface/filter_field/advanced_filtering
Thanks, Leana!

I would still like the Tab. Even though search filters are nice to have some times it's hard to use. I don't acutally know how to use the sintax that's listed in that link above.

I've been search like this...
"Genesis 3 Female" or Genesis_3_Female or "Genesis 3 female - Notice the " use in the first and last search type for searching for Genesis 3 female.
If I want to group items together in a search I do this...
"Genesis 3 female g3f outfit - this will search for all genesis 3 female from both daz and rendersity (G3F) with outfits in the title. So all Genesis 3 female along with outfits.
The only problem I have is when I'm manually looking through my library and I see an item I like but I don't want to use at that exact moment I hate having to write it down. It sucks even more when you have to put it into search to save it as a filter. Which makes you have to start your manual search through your libaray from the beginning.
I just want to be able to scroll through my library see something and just click the star to favor it and keep going...
Anyway, I would like to know how to write out the search for searching between dates, that seems like a nice way to search. But I can't understand how I would use it.
How do you use those searches in real world examples? How do you write them out?
