What is the correct way to upgrade from Daz Studio 4.6 to Daz Studio 4.7 without loosing content .

What is the correct way to upgrade from Daz Studio 4.6 to Daz Studio 4.7 without loosing content, I run Mac 10.9.5 . Do I have to uninstall Daz studio 4.6 first? what are the steps to install the update please. This is the worst part because one never knows what might go wrong especially when there is an ongoing project.

Also if I upgrade my Mac to OSX Yosemite will Daz still work on my Mac?

    If you are in the mid of a project then I would finish that project and install the update.

    And just install the update, it will uninstall the old one for you and keep your content in place.

    No idea about the Mac question sorry never had a Mac myself.

    I simply installed 4.7. Since I had installed all my content through DIM, it was readily accessible to 4.7. In addition, I still sometimes go back to 4.6 to work and any file changes I make there are reflected in 4.7 when I open it and vice versa. I went to Yosemite while still on 4.6. No ill effects in 4.7 except some keyboard bugs that are annoying due to the fact that I don't use a mouse.

    I don't use a mouse either . Is it possible to use 4.7 without the keyboard keyboard ?

    4.7 has keyboard camera navigation if you like that.
