Turning off image optimization?

RaneRane Posts: 145

Okay, is there a way, yes or no, to turn off the image optimizing for renders? I mean, I do alot of test renders, and having to optimize 40, 50 even 140 images takes far too long for my ADD mind to cope with. So if yes, please let me know. If not, well foowey.

No there isn't, but it should only be optimizing images when they are loaded/rendered or if a change has been made to the image, and then it only optimizes the changed image(s) not all of them again.

Alright, thank you for the response.

Switching gamma correction on and off always triggers the optimization for me.

Yes, because it changes the image data as far as the TDL files are concerned - at least on those which don't have gamma = 1 and so need to be corrected.
