V4 clothing rigging problem

BagboyBagboy Posts: 170

Hello-

Having a (hopefully) easily resolved problem with the DS4.6Pro Figure Setup tool. Never had this happen before so it's probably something simple I'm overlooking. :-S

Everything was rigged according to Figure Setup instructions (I think!). Ticked the Modify Selected Figure box and hit the Create button. So far, so good.

But when I fit it to V4, some of the bones shift to throw it out of whack.

I just can't seem to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Did you model around the zeroed figure or the figure in the default pose? They aren't the same, so when you fit the clothes to V4 the position is adjusted and you get the type of effect you see.

    Hi Richard!

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I think I used one of those "blank", "noJCM" models to create around. But, maybe not. I'll have to check.

...Ah, yup. I used the regular V4 and NOT the "blank" one. And that indeed seems to be where I went wrong.

    Thanks again, Richard!
