Couple newbie DAZ questions

I had a couple begginer questions and didnt want to start up a bunch of different post.

figure 1 what is the difference between  Genesis 8 "DEV" load and "BASIC" ?
2 under editor>shaping how do I get to be just a slider without the thumbnail image of a bodybuilder etc.

3 what determines if I can us one of the preset "animations" if i chose Genesis 8 female theres a bunch of animations if I chose Genesis 8 male theres only 4 (move x,y,z and rotate)

Animations - Are the animation presets such as "sitting up" only meant to be in Daz studio? If I export an FBX and import into cinema 4d there isn't an animation. If I make my own animation on the timeline export FBX  and import into cinema 4d there is an animation.

I found out Daz bridge 1.2 to cinema 4d R24 and redshift isn't supported. I was told to install an earlier version I suppose 1.1. How do I get rid of 1.2 I'm not even sure where its located and the version 1.1 doesnt have an installer.

Thats it for now thanks for your time..

The Dev Load has everything zeroed out, ready for things like morph creation and rigging fitted items. The base is more ready to use for posing etc.

I don't think what displays is user-controllable (unless you go in to the data folders and delete the images)

What do you mean by animations? Are you thinking of pose cotnrols, where a single slider controls multiple bones? Most of those are add-ons, so if the female has the standard morphs product and the male doesn't that might explain it. It also depends on what you have selected. If you don't mean the pose controllers then would you give a bit more detail of what you are looking at.
