Animation Pipeline Help

Hi All,

I'm having some issues with floor contacts in DAZ and was wondering is my pipeline was to blame or if anyone else has these issues and knows the fix.

So I have Vicon MOCAP data that I work up in Motionbuilder into an actor and then characterize it to the Genesis skeleton. I tell the MB character to obey the floor using the settings/playing with floor contact markers it provides and playback of the skeleton in MB is great with feet obeying the floor

In Daz I need to set character limits of off

I export my characters movement to .bvh (as for some reason importing fbx ruins everything)

I import the bvh file and use “match the file settings”

Most of the body is totally fine, but the feet tend to hover in places (see linked render) and don’t respect the floor.

Am I missing something here? Is there a box I need to tick in DAZ?

Any help on my pipeline would be helpful, ive hear people talk about ‘iclone’ but im not sure if I can import mocap stuff into it or whether it specifically fixes this issue.

Help would be hugely appreciated as im tearing my hair out over this.
