Genesis and V5 yo genesis 8 poses and props converter anyone?

Anyone know of a free or paid converter for genesis and Victoria 5 poses and props to genesis 8?

    I knew not doing G1->G8 transfer script would come & bite me one day. I've done bi-directional pose transfer scripts for V3, V4, M4 to G3 & G8 and  G2F to V4, but not that one. Sorry.

    I think there is a commercial script to do it...[searches]... I thought there was a RiverSoftArt script, but can't seem to find it.

    Not sure if I have G1F on my machine. If I have, I may do one at some point. Not going to happen if I don't - I really don't need more characters I'm not going to use on my machine. I shall check this evening.

    Genesis 2 could use some Genesis 1 poses, provided that they were in .DUF format. (You must re-save the pose if it's not.) The only major difference was the hand poses because G2 had straightened out fingers.

    As for props, I don't remember how to save them out, but when I needed to use them, I load up the figure it was for and adjust G8's arms into T-pose. Then I parent the prop to G8's hand and delete the original figure.

    Edited comment for accuracy. But also, G1 is similar to V4. Not sure exactly by how much, but G1 could use V4 poses with some tweaking.

    MimicMolly had me checking wondering if I had forgotten.. It's G2 to V4 not G8F. I checked the state of G1 on my machine, and I do have G1/V5, so can probably do a pose transfer script for that in a week(?) or so if that would be useful.

    Hello. I am jumping in on this thread because I've just realized that I also have need to convert V5 poses to G8F, so I'd like to see how this turns out. I'm a total Daz newbie ...

    OK, I did actually start a convertor this afternoon. I have never used Genesis before, and it seems slightly unusual in that 90 degrees of bend for the shin on G1F leads to the same angle as that 94 degrees of bend with G8F. But the foot then needs a 4.45% reverse bend to keep it at the same angle as G1F. I have done the hips, both legs and torso. Next stage will be neck, then arms and hands. The 'zeroed' hand position seems very similar to V4, so that will be my starting point for matching the zero poses.

    You're welcome. Would be nice to have it updated. Maybe you could collaborate with it's author to see what improvements could be made?
