Does look really great, not all my characters will sport long hairs ;-)
Great you managed to pull it, mate! I know we've been talking about this on DA for ages, but let me repeat: stunning.
Glad you like the look of it Totte :)
I am so pleased for you dude for getting this released in to the wild.
Thank you very much Cecilia, got there in the end LOL
very sexy looking hair, fibermesh I assume
A-up mate :)
Thank you very much my friend :)
Thanks heaps Wendy, what you see here is just a bit of it ;) - confirming Fibermesh but no Transmaps on the fibers.
very excited for this.
Looks awesome. I'm looking forward to adding it to my runtime.
I'm so happy to see that this is on the way.
Thank you very much for the feedback guys :)
Looks outstanding...I love the versatility and realism. Definitely plan on picking this up, next week if I can!
I am of course trying stuff that pushes my software to its limits using this
hope to be able to share the results
ok first thing WAS rather ambitious
iClone6 softbody PhysX was never going to work as it exceeds the 2000 poly limit
except
apparently it does not because that is per UV weightmap and each strand uses the same map!
so it actually loaded the map and can run the physX on the hair
but
OMG one fame at at time by frame this is so not gonna happen!!!
it actually was working each strand of your hair moved down and was in motion but I crashed iClone trying to stop it as I had not enabled collision
Awsome hair Lantics. Thank you very much.
For those who want to use this on G2F, after the initial Auto fit is done, you will need to tell the hair to be conformed to G2F instead of just the skull cap. If you dont, the hair will sit above the skull cap. You may need to adjust your X axis scaling too.
I love the haircut am having massive problems with the mac version of the downloads; the ds settings don't seem to work and the hair has no morphs. The poser version does seem to partly work with the morphs working in the hair and the mat seeing working for the hair but not the cap. Any ideas?
Addition! The error was on my side!
About to purchase this, it looks awesome ^^
I was wondering though: who's the handsome fellow in the promo's :o
Just love your Real Short Hair, Laticis! Tons of morphs and it renders beautifully. I look forward to your next product!
Thanks heaps Scott :)
Oh wow Wendy, that certainly was a rather full on test and used in an application I could not have anticipated O.o
Very interested in hearing how else you plan to test it ;)
Very cool....not the crash though but a partial success by the sounds of it.
Very much appreciated Mattymanx, thank you :)
A wonderful tip mate, I used the same technique here: http://laticis.deviantart.com/art/Cyber-Beauty-502036832
HI Nemesis,
Very sorry to hear you are having troubles. I had quite a few beta testers and I am sorry to say but I never asked if they were on MAC or PC.
I dont have a MAC here so no way I can test, all I can hope for is that another MAC user to add the comments and thoughts.
I cant understand why there would be issues though.
As for mat applications, I had to break up the cap and fibers into different presets...just map sure you have the cap selected before applying.
If you are still having troubles let me know.
Thanks heaps Estroyer :)
LOL the handsome fellow is a Dial Up I have been working on, think he still needs some more attention :)
Wonderful render Lindsey, looks great on your character, thank you very much for the post and the feedback :)
Thanks heaps Estroyer :)
LOL the handsome fellow is a Dial Up I have been working on, think he still needs some more attention :)
Hehe, I saw your reaction over at DA.
Dialed up guy looks quite handsome ^^
If he were for sale, he'd be an insta purchase for me XD
Anyway, I did purchase the hair and will be showing some renders when I get to it after xmas!
Have a great holiday!
Thank you for your help with the Mac hair question; it s rendering nicely now!
I could get it to move but trying to bake the sim crashes iClone so never going to work
was amazed it even got that far
is still nice static and morphs will work in DAZ and carrara
it worked once I gave up on soft body on soft body
