Hi all :)

With all that ice and snow in this months' challenge, I invited Santa to our warm southern climes to enjoy a typical South African Christmas.

    Merry Christmas you guys!

Also is it weird seeing imagery of ice and snow and winter in relation to Christmas if you live in the southern hemisphere, since it's summer for you guys?

Maybe there's a whole bunch of 'summer-clothed Santa' imagery that I've just never been exposed to since I live on the north side of the sphere. :)

Nope - I'm trying to start a movement!

We still keep up the traditions of the "Old Country" and Santas sit sweating in their suits in the malls :)

Many of us also have a "Christmas in July" dinner

    never see snow anyway
we just think of it as Santa in the North Pole where it always snows mostly
he dons thongs and hitches up some roos for his Australian run though

    Merry Christmas Dudes & Dudettes.

    It's now Santa time Down-under.
No snow here, but there's some ice in the fridge.

All the best for everyone and a happy and safe New-Year as well.

    Merry Christmas to all.

Being in Canada I get lots of snow normally for Christmas.
This year we are getting +7 and rain so the little we have will be gone and it will be green.
    Not Normal at all.

    Best wishes in the Holidays.

Thanks Roy. Merry Christmas - and happy new year to you. And to everyone else, happy holidays for whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year - except Saturnalia, because that had a long period of human sacrifice. Don't want to encourage that sort of thing. ;-)

You want to really blow their minds, we should have them watch a toilet flush in the northern hemisphere!

Merry Christmas everyone! It's a bright clear day here, 2 degrees with just a few contrails. I wonder if one of them is Santa heading home? I hope he dropped you off something nice on his rounds. :)

That would probably go good with cheesecake!

    Enjoy the holiday cheesecake!
