I need help

So I bought a product called MMX Fantasy Eyes 3 for Genesis 3 and 8, and I keep trying to apply the eye presets/color to my model, she's an 8.1 female (Gu Yu). In the description it said these eyes were compatible with Genesis 8.1 so I don't know whats going on, I don't know how to apply them, and I tried applying them on a simple genisis 8.1 figure and I couldn't do it then either. Could someone help me apply these eyes to my character.

Are you rendering, or using the iray preview mode, or are you using the default texture shaded preview? Are you aplying the base preset first - I don't have the set, but it is listed in the What's Included section of the product page and I would suspect indicates that some sset up is needed before you can use the adjustment presets.

no where on the product page does it say it is compatible with Genesis 8.1. What happens when you try to apply them to 8.1, any popups or warnings?

You could try applying what you want to G8 and then save as a material preset for just the eyes

It says "The Genesis 8 presets use the Genesis 8.0 UV maps and are therefore compatible with Genesis 8.1 Male and Female as well."

opps, didn't see that there are 3 versions of eyes,when i did a serch for MMX Fantasy Eyes 3 for Genesis 3 and 8 it gave me the first version, nevermind
