Reality 4 is part of DIM if I buy it via the daz3d.com website?

    DIM is DAZ's Download Install Manager, Reality 4 is a plug-in for DAZ Studio to send scenes to LuxRender, it is not part of DIM. Are you asking if Reality 4 can be installed by DIM?

    Not as yet, and I suspect not at ll until, or unless, DIM undergoes an upgrade/update. You'll need to download the Reality product zip file from your products, extract the install set and run the setup program manually.

    I don't know of any reason it couldn't be done with the current version of DIM, but at present it is not available in DIM format.

    Hi.

    Reality is a stand-alone program and as such it has its own installer. We need to perform necessary installation steps that cna be done only by having full control of the installation process.

    Thanks for the explanation which helped me understand. Is the version at daz the latest version?

    It should be. If it says 4.0.4 then it is. You can verify the version by running the installer. That's another feature of it, it prints the version right in the first screen after the acceptance of the license.
