Discovered great Free Tree/plant maker but Not Import to DAZ good

This program is aweesome for making your own trees. I'm sure you all know it but i just discovered it today.
the learning edition is free.

It's The Plant Factory Producer from e-on software i think.

Well i made this awesome tree but when i bring it to DAZ the textures dont look good. i used the OAK material for the trunk in TPFP materials.
And it has DAZ Studio FBX export option so i used that to export the file. then i imported to daz

here are two pics. What i got rendered in TPFP and what i got in a Daz render 3DDelight.

PS i dont mind how the leaves etc look in DAZ. But just the Material doesn't look at all like Oak texture, while in TPFP it did.

    I believe the free version deletes 30% of the mesh on export and if you can convert from FBX to obj using the Autodesk FBX converter before importing to DAZ you might get better results as DAZ FBX import not terribly good/.

    Thank you that helped. It's still broken with holes in it but it's ok : ) The texture doesn't look that good either though. I wonder why. It looks good in TGP but in DAZ it looks fuzzy and undetailed.

    Are you using this as the exporter - http://www.plantfactory-tech.com/exporter.php

    EDIT:

    Just noticed you are using the PLE version of Plant Studio. Thier site states this concerning the PLE version

    **Exported geometry removes 1 polygon out of 5

    Well i'm using the export in the File menu from The Plant Factory. I didn't install the EXPORTER. Why would i install the exporter i f TPF already has an Export option in the file menu?

    Anyways, ohhhh so Exporter geometry remoes 1 polygon out of 5.
    That sucks.

    it also does not allow you to use free PLE ones in renders
    given costs of full version Xfrog starts to look damned good when on sale
    I just settle for their freebies

    Thanks for the Xfrog ones i got the freebies :) they're great
