Why am i getting this prompt?...

I used to be able to save my work normally by either going to the file save as scene tab, or alternatively by just hitting CTRL+S.  without any issues at all

But now i am suddenly getting this....which is very annoying.  Why is this happening?...is there a way to fix this?...

What is this filtered save?

If the author name for the file does not match the current author name in DS (Edit>Preferences) then DS will treat Save as Save As to reduce the chnace of accidentally overwriting product files.

Filtered save is just the save, where there are various types of file it can save with different things included/excluded (filtered).

Edit>Preferences (Daz Studio>Preferences on a Mac) lets you set the author name, which is included in the .duf files you save and matched against the current author name in DS to decide whether or not to show the Save As dialogue.
