I have a question, have just modelled a dress its just practice at the minute and have used the transfer facility to conform it to gf2, but do I UVMap it first or does it not matter which way I do that ?

I normally uv map before rigging...not sure that you can do it the other way round, because the duf file stores the object information it's not stored in the geometries folder like poser and I would think there is no way of changing that once it's created with importing the object and then rigging it again.

You can load a new or multiple uv's using the original obj if vertex order remains unchanged
I have changed uv mapping by exporting and remapping existing clothes this way
you import under the lined box by surfaces and then save the new uv selected in parameters as a support asset.

Of course...thanks Wendy I had forgotten about that. Can you remove them also?

So if you didn't have a mapped object you could add the mapping later? Or does it need to have uv mapping to add an alternate uv? I haven't tried adding alternate uv's that's on my to do list...sorry for all the questions.

I think you can delete the original in data

That makes sense...I keep meaning to getting around to trying to do alternate uv's. Is hot where you are? IIRC you're in Sydney? So hot here that my brain has fried...

That's scary when there are fires close by...we won't cool off until about 6pm but I'm in Melbourne. I knew you were from Oz but for some reason thought you were up in Sydney. I think I need a new brain this one is wearing out!
