DIM

This may have been addressed before, in which case I'm the 'dim' one.

I DLed the latest version of DIM and dble clicked on the exe file. Result - bupkis! The DIM folder in Program Files is devoid of content.

Suggestions? Sure could use a 'candle' to brighten this dim user.

    If you have ever had a version of DIM installed before, then run it, and use it to update. It will be done automatically.

    If you have not had a version of DIM installed previously, then you need the installer. When installed, DIM should be found in

    C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ 3D\DAZ3DIM1 on a 84 bit system (DIM is a 32 bit program)

    My folder is just over 80 MB, so if the installer did not install properly, I would suggest clearing your browser cache, and redownloading the exe again.

    It's there but shouldn't dble clicking start it? It doesn't/

    Double clicking on the icon will not run it if there is nothing in the DIM folder to run. Are you referring to the shortcut to run DIM or to install it?

    If it is the installer, then it may be a corrupted version due to a bad download, that is why I suggested downloading it again.. What size exactly in bytes is the exe installer. If you ran it and installed it, there should be files added to the folder as detailed above.

    I just downloaded the latest version of DAZ3DIM_1.1.0.28_Win32.exe, and it comes out at 53.3 MB, is that the one that you have?
