  • Moved to product Suggestions as it is not a Daz Studio question.

Note that models on the web cannot be rigged and redistributed unless their license permits it.

Sure, someone COULD make a compy, but there are really only two PAs these days who make dinosaurs, and they might not be particularly interested in making what you're after. They both seem to have quite full schedules for the projects they're already working on, so even if they agreed/decided to make a compy, it might be a year or two before it got released.

Herschell Hoffmeyer does a very good Dakotoraptor which is a very similar shape to your Compy.

    Cheers,

    Alex.

  • Dinoraul's models are great, but we now know that the compsognathidae had a covering of rather fur-like feathers, making them look rather fluffy. At least one species is known to have had a colour pattern like that of a racoon.

  • Actually, compsognathus fossilized skin samples show it likely did not have feathers or had fewer feathers than other species allegedly possesed. Bristles on fossilized remains of similar dinosaurs such as sinosauropteryx are still under debate on whether they are true feathers or collagen fibres separated from the dermal layer of the skin during fossilization.

You could use DinoRaul's ornitholestes as an alternative: https://www.renderosity.com/rr/mod/bcs/ornitholestesdr/91188
