How do you make anime themed characters in DAZ studio?

I was looking into DAZ, and I found out that you can make amazing still images, and animations. I was trying to find a way to make them look more like anime characters rather than realistic characters.

This requires making the eyes much larger than they are normally set to be,a and by giving the characters low poly/toon hair. I would also need the clothes to be free from restraints, meaning that I can make them look however I want them to, and I'm not limited to what DAZ studio provides.

If all else fails, is it possible to export the anime models form DAZ studio and then import them into Blender? I'm much better at that, but I'm just on guy and I don't have the time or patients to model all of the charatcers I'm trying to make for my project.

Can someone please tell me how to do this?

Have you looked at the various Aiko/Hiro versions?

Yeah, but I have to buy those models, and even if I didn't, I still need to know how to morph them properly (ect: make them look younger or older, and more masculine or more feminine) so they can look like characters I want them to look like. Plus, I need to know how to have full 100% control over the hair.

PS: Still, is it possible to transfer all of these object into Blender with their full rig data and everything? I'm new to DAZ studio, so I'm lost here.

You won't have "100%" control over hair. You will only have what the PA included. You can adjust the base model by using the shapes tab

Okay, when I say "100% control" I mean making hair that (for example) looks like the image provided. In other words, making hair go from one style to another. So if I had Ichigo's hair, and I wanted it to look like Sasuke's, could I do that?

And can it be exported into Blender with all of it's rig data included?

Please tell me if I can at least morph an anime face using a image face morpher and make the anime/manga characters in DAZ then import the models into Blender. Above all, I need to make sure that if I do that, they'll maintain the original rig that they had in DAZ studio, so I won't have to rig them. I know that DAZ has something where you can make a face using an image of a face, (I don't know what it is or how to use it though) but if something like that can make make (at least) the face of the character, then that makes my job a million times easier.

This's what I'm trying to make into a manga:

I'm not really sure I understand what you want to do from the previous posts, but:

-No, rigging can not be transferred to Blender as far as I know.
You can pose/ animate the figures in DS and then import them into Blender, but the rigging itself will be gone.
-You can export any figure/mesh to blender and create a morph for it and then import that morph back into studio (as long as you don't delete or add parts to the mesh) This is a pretty easy process, just a few clicks.
-DS itself is very limited in what it can "make". It relies content that either needs to be bought or is freeware.
The actual content is made in other programs, like Blender.

For example: DS comes with some free figures like Genesis, genesis 2 Female and Genesis 2 male. These are the base figures on which most content is built. They are fully rigged and have some basic morphs/shapes available.
Did you install these figures and are you able to load them into your scene?

Man that sucks, I thought that since you could import the rig data in Miku Miku dance, then you could do it in DAZ studio. But can you use the image face morpher to make an anime character and hair styles? I;m pretty sure there is a 3D morpher for images for an entire character somewhere in the world, and that would be very useful.

In the previous posts, I was trying to see if I can change one anime hair style to another.

In the previous posts, I was trying to see if I can change one anime hair style to another.

If you buy hair for the figure (or get it free from various sources like ShareCg), then you are limited to which morphs the author of that model made for said hair. If s/he made it possible to change the hair significantly, then you can do that. If it has no such morphs, you cant. Some hairs have many morphs, some have only a few (for "blowing in the wind" and such). But even if a hair prop has many different morphs, the morph styles usually do not differ radically from the base. For example if you have a geisha-like hair, you cannot change it into a soldier´s shortcut. For hairstyles that are very different from each other, you would have to buy a different hair prop for each.

AFAIK compatible rigging between programs is still pretty rare.
Where does that rig data that you mention come from? Blender?

I don't know how face morpher works, i don't have it. There is faceshop, but i doubt it will do what you want:

Maybe someone who knows will come around, or yyou could try posting in "the commons" forum, where more people will see.

For the hair, it is theoretically possible, but if you are making a manga why not just use two different hair styles?
