A way to "Make" or "buy" Custom skins?

Hey!

 

So, I was wondering if it's at all possible to make or buy a custom skin...

I plan to make an animation for a movie that has been my favorite since I was young and next year marks 20 years since it's release. I Wanted to make something special for it for a Yotube video but before any of that can start, I need to know if I can make or buy custom skins.

If so, where? How?

This movie means a lot to me so I would like to get started on it asap.

You can make all the custom skins you want. Just export a figure as an obj file to Blender (or Substance Painter,etc.), texture paint on the skin, and then import the textures back into Daz Studio.

The Daz Millenium Horse was the first generation horse,  and there are plenty of textures for it,  though it is primarily designed for the 3Delight render engine.

The Daz 2 Horse is the next generation horse and it also has textures available and designed for Iray rendering.

There is also the Hivewire Horse available elsewhere. 

What may be more difficult than finding or making the textured skins for the horse  will be finding Animations for the horse.

The Hivewire Horse available at Renderosity has a Mustang texture for it. So you could just use that.
