what font are you using for your ui?

i tried a bunch. so far tahoma looks the biggest. wanting the biggest, boldest, baddest :lol:

garamond and georgia :shut: couldn't read it.

    You can only go so far before the text starts to get truncated in some places in the interface.
    I've been using Geneva, even though it truncates the text in a few situations.
    Helvetica seems to fit properly without truncation, but is harder to read.
    Tahoma looks very similar to Helvetica, perhaps a bit narrower.

    I don't think that there is any good solution to the "small font" issue in Carrara. It looks to me like the programmer allocated a set physical number of pixels at every location in the interface where text appears, effectively locking the maximum font size that will fit in each space.

    I use an older 19 inch monitor that only displays about 86 pixels per inch. At that resolution the Carrara text is still pretty readable. But the newer high resolution monitors will shrink any on-screen element that wasn't designed to be re-sizeable. Unfortunately, it appears that Carrara wasn't designed to do this.
