big biceps posing problem

Hi folks!

I can't make my Genesis character flex her biceps properly. The biceps 'look' forward, and the bicep bumps cannot be seen from behind even with using flexing poses made by others.

The biceps are placed properly during the bending/twisting, but AS SOON AS i release the property bar at the value of my liking, the skin automatically 'corrects' itself and the biceps suddenly look forward, instead of upward. No matter how much i bend the shoulders, upper arms, the biceps want to look forward only.

Can i somehow avoid this automatic 'correction'? So that the skin (texture, mesh) would STAY the way i see it RIGHT before i release the property bar (my finger from the left mouse button).

Thanks for the help in advance! Sorry for the caps lock here and there, but i think they are useful this way.

Regards
Blas

Depending on your Tool Settings, DS changes to Base Resolution when you move of pose a joint, and as soon as you release the MB, it springs back to High Res.

If you go to Window > Panes (Tabs) > Tool Settings, and change the 'During Manipulation' Sub Division to 'Persistent (On)' it wont do that any more. You could also set the resolution of your figure to Base to get the look that you see when posing.

Thank you for your answer, it has led me to solving the problem.

It had nothing to do with the resolution. The Sub Division was set to Persistent by default.

I only had to change the Skin Binding (just one! row below the Sub Division setting you pointed my attention to) to Full. It was set to Optimized by default.

So what i called 'automatic correction' was this Optimization, and i disabled that when i set the Skin Binding from Optimized to Full.

    Aw yeah! Thanks! :)
