Please help exposure

Lately I found that I have to use the TONEMAPER OPTIONS,Exposure value Default being 13 and I was told to raise it to 14 or higher.
Lately this is what i get. This one is done at exposure 15.60. WTH??
The figure on the left is Ulrike Gen 8 female, the one on the right the overexposed one is Gwyn HD for gen 8 females. What the hell is up here? I'm at my ropes end. Any suggestions to prevent this from happening? I have to darken Ulrike and still Gwyn comes out washed out. Come on .
Please any help or suggestions would be appreciated

The tonemapper wouldn't do that, if both your figures are in the same scene. You're not compositing them together, are you? If you are, you'll have to re-render both of them with the same tonemapper settings.
