How to reauthenticate?

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Hi, I'm getting an error that I can't use assets I bought because I need to reauthenticate DS. How do I do this? 

I found one previous thread where someone had this question, then replied that they found it, but they didn't say where! LOL - that didn't help me. ;)

    It shouldn't matter, other than an irritating pop-up on luach, since no content is currently encrypted against your account. However, all you need to do to get rid of it is use the Connect menu to log in to your account - you don't need to save the password or set it to always log in in future, just once should do the job (at least for a while).

    Go to the help tab in DAZ3d, scroll down to "Register DAZ Studio" and put in your credentials.  It should clear.

    Registering/serialisng DS has nothing to do with authentication, however - though doing it online will authenticate, until the hardware is seen to have changed.
