Question about LPE in Daz

Hi, I just started to learn LPE, what I want is to make sure backlight(rim) won't blocked by wall, is it possible to use LPE hide specific object?(not only mask, I need the light through them), and how?
For example(picture below), I have a red plane as light source, and a sphere as main object and a cube as wall, how can I hide the wall to make sure red light on the sphere in LPE?
