Does Carrara have a Spin Edges or Spin Quads capability ?

Does Carrara have a Spin Edges or Spin Quads capability, allowing a user to select two quads or two edges and "spin them" to change their direction ?

Like this? If you use the bridge tool on two polygons you can specify number of segments and a twist value. This is shown in the middle of the attached image. Otherwise you can use the bend and twist deform modifier in the vertex modeler on polygons and polylines to twist existing geomtry. So the more vertices you have the smoother the modified geometry. unlike the bridge tool, it won't create any new geometry for you. Also, be prepared for some trial and error to get your head around how bend and twist modifier works. The bridge tool is in the toolbar and the other is in the "model" menu dropdown under deform.

Many thanks for your kind input PGre. smiley  The method I am seeking is generally used to fix bad topology flow, eg when a human head is modelled but needs to be optimised for animation.  This link shows a specific moment at 4m5s from a Lightwave video showing the trick, though the entire 8m video is perhaps worth a watch if those techniques could be replicated in Carrara.
