New Item - Strange Issue - Simply Casual Boxers and Shirts for Genesis 2 Male(s)

I just bought the Simply Casual Boxers and Shirts for Genesis 2 Male(s) from the DAZ Store.
When I put them on any Genesis 2 male they become semi-transparent.
All of the surfaces look correct. I am not sure what is causing this.
See image below.

That is really strange. First off, though, that image will likely be pulled (no buttocks allowed). The shorts use the AoA Subsurface Shader, which comes with DAZ Studio but is a separate installation. Is it possible you do not have the shader installed? It's the only thing I can think of at the moment, but I am testing it out. You sent me a PM... is it possible for you to zip your scene file exactly as you have it set up and send that to me?
Sure, let me fix the exposed butt and I will post again with the scene.
Ok, the butts are covered. Thanks for the reminder there.
Also, thanks for the fast response/assistance.
by AoA Subsurface Shader do you mean - Subsurface Shader Base by Age or Armor?
If yes, I have that installed.
Please see attached scene.
Ok, it will not allow me to attach the scene even as a zip file. I tired sending it via PM. It seemed to allow that. Please confirm.
OK, I loaded the file and I'm not getting the semi-transparency issue at all. I'm going to assume your test was with default DS lights and exactly as you sent it... so I don't know. As much as I hate to suggest it, since I can't recreate the problem to work on a solution, you will need to submit a support ticket to let the DAZ experts help you as much as they can. I'm just not savvy enough about the software to know what might have caused that. Send them the screenshot that you first posted here... they will want to see that. Please, let me know if they find you a quick solution. It may just be the version of DS you are using, I honestly don't know.
Thanks for the assistance.
Seems like this will be harder to resolve than I had originally thought.
Also, it seems to happen on any Genesis or Genesis 2 based character male or female.
This is caused by interaction with the Motion Blur render setting.
If I turn it off the problem goes away.
Can someone explain that to me?
I can't explain it, but it is a known issue and I was going to ask you to see if motion blur was on.
Hello Richard,
Thanks for the help. Did not want to pass up an opportunity to learn something new. :)
Take care,
The issue is resolved.

Just bought the product and love it. For some reason, while boxers accept materials without glitch, the tank top doesn't.
UPDATED. Never mind, I was trying to apply t-shirt mats to tank top.
I just ran into this today and was about to post a similar WTF post when I came across this thread. In my case is was subsurface shaders used on Keiko 6's skin. Although she doesn't move in my composition, her skin went translucent.
She has one keyframe in frame 0 from the initial posing but no other keyframes. I have 3 seconds of frames being used to generate the motion blur as a volley missiles fly above the character, those are keyframed appropriately.
I thought it might have something to do with no 2nd keyframe for Keiko, so I added on in at the end of the frames to "lock" her in place. but still she goes translucent.
finally ... I picked one bone ... a toe (out of sight in her boot) and moved it 1/10th of a degree in the last frame, enough so that she would be technically be "moving" and voila, solid skin :-)
Summary:
When using AoA SubSurface shaders in combination with Motion Blur for an object that won't actually be moving in the frame -- keyframe the root node at the start and end of the animation range (even if there's no difference). AND then keyframe very slight movement in some part of the figure, if you keep the movement tiny, it should not show any blur even if the moving part is in sight(?). I found if you don't have both types of keyframes, the material goes translucent.
