I keep getting a error that says( /data/DAZ/Gensis/Base/Gensis.dsf ) not found. I tried looking
for Gensis.dsf on program files but could not find it. Did I not download something that had th[s
file in it?I got Gensis 2.dsf. Where do I get Gensis.dsf from ? Any Help would be great. Thanks

You need to download and install 'Genesis Starter Essentials' as well from your Product Library, or DIM if you use that.

I did, I even went into gensis starter essentials and found the dsf and then put it into
the base myself. It still cain't find it. Be nice if studio was as easy to use as poser.

It should have been already there if it was installed properly, which suggest to me that DS is not looking where you think it should be.

You MUST tell DS where to find your content in Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager

If you used DIM to install, then all of your content will be in C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library.

If you installed it yourself from the ZIP file, then you probably copied the folder called 'content' into your library. You must empty the contents of that folder into the library folder, and not the folder itself, that may be your problem.
