Some assets needed to load the file were missing.

/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/Genesis.dsf


Not been able to find an answer so please help.

This problem started because I was trying to fix Daz as my Victoria 6 model also had a similar issue with not finding the files.

    What that error usually means, is that your content directories are not set up properly.

    Did you install Genesis Starter Essentials AND Genesis 2 Starter Essentials?
    Did you use DIM (DAZ Install Manager) to install them?
    If so, make sure that the correct paths are listed in Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager under Poser and DAZ Studio Formats.

    the same thing comes for me "some assets needed...." for the DA OLD OAK TREE. could u help with this please?

    How did you install it, using DAZ Install Manager?    If so, DAZ Install Manager installs to C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library by default, and you need to make sure that path is listed in Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory manager under both Poser and DAZ Studio formats.
