Making poses for Studio without wacky translations ?

I'm having a hard time making centered and leveled poses in Poser 2014, especially when I try to make lying down poses with Genesis 2.

When I import it to Studio, the pose is far from the center point and under ground. And if I don't export translations for the lying down poses, I have to adjust them in Studio, which is troublesome.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the question, but in creating poses it's generally best to keep the figure centred and to make any adjustments to the position using the hip bone rather than the full figure node.

When your doing your pose only use the y translation of the hip to move the figure up and down. Then when you save you want to uncheck things like general and all translations then go back and recheck the y translation for the hip.

Ah the hip bone, just noticed it drop-down menu.

Now it makes sense, I remember reading something about the hip but I always assumed they meant the pelvis.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
