Can one not preview these things — or am I doing something incorrectly, or simply missing the point with all of this non-sense?  All I see is the same spinning NFP head logo. Can ya show me the goods, or are you blindly buying a figure sight unseen... a pig in a poke of sorts

In my understanding you are buying a pig in the poke.

Mystery grab bag... who knows what it'll contain...

I honestly don't get why anyone would spend that amount of money on something so random... you can argue all the other NFT/NFP talking points, but a random character you might not like makes no sense at all... unless they are hoping people will resell them instead of keeping them?... but to what end?

If you paid $700+ dollars for a mystery character and didn't like it, would you buy another one? Are they hoping for that?

I don't get the logic... at least with an regular NFT you are bidding on or buying something you've seen already.

Maybe the logic is everyone will want to buy the good looking characters and the not so popular ones will rot on the shelf and have to be thrown out, so if you make it a mystery grab bag more people will be tempted by the Russian roulette idea instead of being turned off by the less appealing characters?

There has got to be some "logic" in this idea... not "logic" or "idea" in the traditional sense of the words, but you know, whatever that was.

And granted... no offense to anyone who is turned on by the idea of a mystery grab bag... thats brilliant, yeah... you are just the person I'm interested in talking to...

See... I've got an even better mystery bag... For $2,000 USD payable in Apple gift cards, I can transfer to your ownership a one of a kind REAL mystery bag made out of real recyclable brown paper, filled with amazing things that will blow your freaking mind!

So please hurry up and get back to me ASAP, because some of those things are starting to leak through the bag and I don't want to clean it up or have to bury it all over again.

$2K... If you don't buy it soon it'll go up to $3K or it'll be buried somewhere no one can find it... (hopefully)... (too many questions otherwise)...

I think the main idea is so that you get a "uniquerandomfemale  " avatar clothes and hair that maybe worth more money at sometime in the future (an investment) , instead of being  something you can personalize  to your own tastes.   , as it is I get annoyed that I can't see a characters full skin texture because in all the promo images they wearing clothing, I like to see what I'm getting for my money.

Correction, you are buying a link to a pig in the poke, which you can't see until some unknown future date and you can only use the assets behind the link within the limits set by the Interactive Licence / DAZ eula.
You do have full ownership of the link though.

There are previews of examples on the Discord server, along with multiple pieces of additional information. However, there is no full catalogue with images and item lists, and the NFP a buyer would receive is not shown until reveal day; this is common among NFT projects. If you want to purchase only once seen, after reveal, you would be able to but you would have to wait and then make an offer to the person who owns that NFP/NFT and go with the price that person chooses to set.
