Ugent Help needed with Michael 4 and Dynamic Fantasy and Monster Robes Bundle
I'm in desperate need of help for a project I am trying to complete. I need a robed character. Looking through the product like I found the Dynamic Fantasy and Monster Robes Bundle package. It needs Victoria 4, Michael 4, The Freak 4 to operate. So I also purchased Michael 4 Starter Bundle.
Big problem. I load the Michael 4 character into a new scene, then click on the fantasy robe. The robe loads but it is NOT rigged to the character.
I also downloaded Michael 4 for Genesis 2 Male, thinking that I wouldn't need to purchase Michael 4, and the robes and everything else Michael 4 would work on the Genesis 2 model. Well the robe isn't rigged to this either plus the skin morphs don't fit you see many seams. I'm going to ask for my money back on this one unless there is someway to fix it.
Thanks,
Mike.

BTW I noticed a typo product like should read as product line.
You can probably use the robe in the same way on any figure of about the right size.
Open the timeline and make sure the marker is on frame 0.
Load the robe and the figure.
Adjust the figure's pose so it fits inside the robe.
Go to frame 30 in the timeline and apply the target pose to the figure.
Go back to frame 0.
Open the Dynamic clothing pane
Set the drape type to animated and click the Drape button.
Ok I think I'm starting to get the hang with what's going on. Please bear with me I am fairly new to using Daz. I didn't know how dynamic cloth worked I just thought it was suppose to move with the character like other clothing. When I opened the dynamic cloth menu ( didn't know about it before ) I could see what it does. So the other issue then, if I pull the characters arms outside of the robe, in some other position, then hit drape, it doesn't drape the sleeves back on the characters arms again, it just has the robe fall onto the body from its loaded position. How do I fix that?
Also, with your advice I'm not sure how to apply the target pose to the figure.
If the arms start inside the robe in frame 0, then you move them to their intended position in frame 30 and do an animated drape from frame 0 the clothing will (should) follow the arms as the drape is calculated. Much dynamic clothing will pose, roughly, with the figure but very loose items, or items that trail, won't work that way - and if you are using the clothes on a figure other than the one they were made for the auto conform won't work; animated draping is the fix for these situations (as well as for things like getting the drape to accommodate a chair, where you can have the chair pulled back in frame 0 and then moved under the figure in frame 30 so that when you drape it scoops the clothing up).
