How to move a section of the body in DAZ 4.7

Hello

With my morphs I often translate a section of the body for a better fit, eg eyes might be sticking out after the morph so I translate them back into the head to achieve the required look I was after before I render.

This was easy to do in 4.6.
How do you do it in 4.7, as all I get are surfaces for selection, if I choose the eye surfaces it moves the whole figure ?
Must be an easy way of doing the translation.

Also can the DAZ 4.7 selection be adjusted so we can pick a figure instead of surfaces, as the surfaces option really grates on me as to how I use DAZ.
Very close to reinstalling 4.6.

Many thanks in advance for any help, Bunyip

You have the surface selection tool active, and thus are working with surfaces. Click on the Universal Tool, then you can select nodes instead.

Looks like you are using one of the 'basic' layouts...Hollywood Bvld. Try switching to City Limits...it has more advanced toolbars.

Many thank-you's, now back to were I was.
Don't ask me how it ended up on the Surface Selection Tool, was not using it before I switched from 4.6 to 4.7
