No lighting in 4.7 after installing 4.8 beta

I installed the 4.8 public beta and it works pretty good. I like the render using iray. But, I can't open anything I made in 4.7 and when I open 4.7 to work on something none of the lights work. It says they are installed. I created some lights and even had some lamps that lit up but no light is being emitted. My characters look almost like they are negative. My scene view changed from gray to white. I got that back but the scenes still don't work. Has anyone else had this problem?

Was 4.7 installed manually or via the Install Manager? Please post a render showing the "negative" effect, I'm not sure what you mean.

I used install manager to set up both. I rendered a simple woman in a room. with basic OpenGL it was dark. With Intermediate OpenGL it looked good. However, I got a popup that read: " Warning! Pbscuring the Viewport during an OpenGL render my corrupt the final image." Now, I did not see anything blocking the viewport and the render was fine. And, again, however, the render happened almost immediately. When I used 3Delight I got the window showing the progress bar. It said it was optimizing the images 0/27. But, the render was set to only render the single image and there were no other images there. And it never rendered. I did also buy Reality4 Renderer using the LUX render engine. It usually doesn't work either.

Anyway here is the picture of the render using the Intermediate OpenGL.

Thank you for your help. I hope i was not too confusing here.
