Install Manager isn't installing resources?

Been using the DIM for a while, but recently it's been having some major hiccups. It installs the icons and metadata and such for products, but then it does not install critical resources like geometry or texture files. I can fix this with a manual install, but that rather defeats the purpose of using the DIM. Has anyone else seen this?

It doesn't matter if the product is new or old, and nothing has changed that I know of (no upgrades pr install path changes). What gives?

Are you getting error messages trying to load them? Is the location DIM is installing them listed in DAZ Studio as both DAZ Studio Format and Poser Format in Content Directory Manager? Are the files not on your hard drive, or are they there but DS isn't finding them?
