saving shader mixer shaders with thumbnails

What is the correct way to save a shader mixer shader so as to generate a thumbnail? I have a handful of .dbm files, but if I try to use File > Save As > Shader Preset, it generates a thumbnail minus the actual shader, just showing the untextured material you would see before rendering.

Screenshot shows rendered sphere, and the untextured thumbnail that is generated.

Also, do I need a different option so I save my shader as one thing, and presets for it as another, or are they all rolled together into the same thing?

I generally set up the scene to show a nice shot of the sphere (or whatever I'm using for a test model), then set the render options to square and 100 x 100 (supposedly 91 x 91 or something like that is the 'official' size). Then render (to new window). Then I save that render over the auto-generated one...

Thanks, didn't even realize you could do that. Works great. (and the new thumbnail shows up after you restart DAZ Studio.)

Or right click > refresh in the Content Library...

    That's what I do also...

I didn't realise it could be 100x100 though I thought it had to be 91?

I just picked 100x100, and so far it seems to be working.
